personality: Takahiro is very serious and up-tight. If you make him smile you really did something! He hasn’t smiled since his ‘children’ died (which was about 400 years ago). He can be very stern with his students, but deep _{very deep} he does care about them. He also holds etiquettes high, and will correct students (or teachers) if they do something that is not according to the rules.

likes: Practicing his double-bladed sword, etiquette’s, teaching, rules, fire magic. Autumn, forests.

bio:
From when he was only a little pup, Takahiro got harsh training form his family. He coms form a long lineage of kitsune that serve the Seraph Monarchy. So it was also no exception for him that he also went into the Royal army. Every one of his brothers and sisters were blessed with one of the 7 elements; Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Takahiro had the blessing of Fire. That means that he is very skilled with fire magic and he and his other brothers and sisters were aiding the kings and queens in their quests for victory.
Takahiro himself choose the way of the Samurai. His other brothers and sisters also chose their own path. And when he was old enough to leave his nest he went to a Seraph village and there he trained to become a samurai himself. He pretty much acted on his own, having the harsh and stern looks of his father. But he did made one friend… that was Daisuke Tadao . He and Daisuke fought together as comrades for the Japanese emperor. But one day tragedy struck… Daisuke, his best friend fell in battle. But just before he passed away he asked Takahiro to watch over his children. Their mother died at childbirth of the second one and otherwise they had nowhere to go… Takahiro couldn’t refuse the wish of a fallen comrade and agreed.

Oh what did he agreed to…
The children, a girl (Miwa) and a boy (Shin), were such a handful! He didn’t know how to deal with them and at first he treated them like the cadets in the army. But soon he came to realise that that didn’t work. He heard that they needed something like ’guidance’ and ‘love’. The children also needed a place to stay and he took them back to his home in the forest, near the samurai village. For a long time they happily lived with their ‘grumpy’ uncle Fox.
As the children grew older, Takahiro knew that they couldn’t stay with him much longer and should live a life of their own. He doesn’t age physically like they did, so when the children became adults they moved away from their home in the forest. But kept paying their respects to Takahiro.
It went on like that for years and years. And the children grew old, passed away and so did the children of their children. Takahiro kept serving as a samurai for the Royal army, he also kept moving around because he doesn’t like being in one place too much. But he always went back to that one place in the forest where he has so many happy memories…

It wasn’t until he came across the academy that he decided to stay at the same place for a while. As then he could act as a mentor again, just like before.
